Call us crazy...

Call us what you want, but if I can think of one word that describes our past year, it would be crazy. Whether it be moving out of our house in Fitchburg only 5 days after having Preston, living with my parents for a month, moving to Evansville only to re locate to Indy 5 months later, whew- just typing that makes me tired. As you all know, house hunting here has proved to be anything but easy and stress free. With the clock ticking- we had to buy a home or be homeless come June 29th. So, here comes the crazy part- we purchased the same home we already "purchased" one before. Yep, thats right. We bought the house on Red Berry in Fishers AGAIN- the one with the round a bout going in behind the house. With MUCH contemplation, we visited 15 homes after moving on from that house the last time, and just could not find anything to compare/match it. The house has literally everything we want- so we are going to put up with the round a bout. With the money from the city for purchasing the "berm" in our yard- we will re do the landscaping for privacy and put up a fence for the kids. Luckily, the road is still quite far from the house, so we won't be living right on the road. With .68 acres, we know we still have a large yard. There were also some issues with the pool, that we had inspected by the original pool installer, and the buyer has agreed to pay to fix the issues, by presenting us with the money at closing. We are more than excited to FINALLY have a house (again) and are moving next Friday. Since all the paperwork with the bank was already completed the first time we had an accepted offer, this time the process was quick. We could have actually closed this week, but we have a wedding in Princeton, IL this weekend, and I will be staying at my parents for a few days next week- so we decided next Friday would be best. So, call us crazy, but we are happy to finally get settled and enjoy our new pool this summer!
