Izzy

Izzy- the  newest member of our family. Yesterday we picked her up from the breeder (about 35 min north of our house) and brought her to her forever home. I don't think Reese quite understood she was coming home with us, until we got in the car- and then it set in. Reese can't keep her hands off of her, and is so gentle with her. It's fun to watch. Preston could care less :) He will pet her if she walks by him, but other than that, he keeps to himself. Jack, our cat, could also care less. He was laying on the chair when we brought Izzy inside for the first time. He didn't move, and just watched her play for a while. A bit later, when he came inside from being out in the garage, Izzy was right there, and he sniffed her, and kept walking. We will see how their relationship progresses.
Izzy is a Mini Goldendoodle, and weighs 2.8 lbs right now. She is SO tiny. The 3 other litter mates (all males) are all much bigger than her, around 5 lbs. I took a video so you can see the size difference between them. She checked out healthy with the vet, and eats fine, so she may be smaller (they usually range from 15-30 lbs) so she may lean toward the 15 lb end.
She slept AWESOME last night. We wore her out :) I put her in her crate at 10 p.m., she woke at 1:30, went potty outside, right back in her crate, and she woke at 7:30 am when Reese woke up. No whining at all. Let's hope she keeps it up!
So far so good with potty training- she has gone everytime outside and only had one accident inside. Here are some pics. The first link is the video of  her and her litter mates- 1 had already gone home with their new owner (from St. Paul Minnesota.)
